Do guests still need a card to enter the casino?

Yes. For now, guests will need either a Star Awards card or a Casino Entry card.

What is a Casino Entry card?

A Casino Entry card allows a guest to enter the casino if he/she does not have a Star Awards card. Casino Entry cards are available at the Star Awards booth and turned back in when a guest enters the casino.

Will guests still need to show identification at the turnstiles?

Guests will need to show identification at the Star Awards booth when they get a Casino Entry card or at the casino entrance if they appear to be under 30 years of age. This is to verify that they are of legal gaming age.

Will guests be able to use the bill validator without a Star Awards card?

Yes. Players do not have to have their Star Awards card inserted prior to buying in credits on the machine.

Is there a limit for how much a guest can buy in within a specific time frame?

No. Guests can enjoy unlimited gaming. Players can now buy in at their discretion and manage their own spending.

Do table players need to show a Star Awards card when they play?

No. However, to receive ratings and earn rewards, table players still need to show their Star Awards card. The more guests play on their card, the more rewards they will receive through cash back, comps as well as direct mail and email offers.

Will guests still be able to get paid for jackpots in chips and tokens?

Yes. Guests can still choose to be paid in chips and tokens and have the option to take them home for future gaming.

If a guest was previously removed for infractions related to the loss limit regulations, is he/she still considered banned from the gaming floor?

No. Any guest who was reprimanded for violating loss limit regulations is no longer in violation and is permitted on the gaming floor under the new rules.

If a guest was disassociated (DAP) prior to the passing of proposition A, is he/she still considered disassociated?

Yes. Guests are still considered disassociated (DAP) under the new rules. Guests will be checked in our database when they request their own Star Awards card, redeem points or comps and if they win a taxable jackpot.

What services can guests receive at the Star Awards booth on the streetscape?

Guests can still receive the same services at all Star Awards booths. Off the casino floor, guests can also obtain their Casino Entry card, which allows them entry onto the casino floor if they do not have a Star Awards card.
