PEARL'S OYSTER BAR
"Gumbo will hold your life together" reads a sign on the wall at Pearl's Oyster Bar. You have only to sit down to some at this funky, down-home restaurant, where seafood is the main draw, to know that it's true. While there's some great Creole and Cajun cuisine on the menu, from Louisiana Pan Roast to a hearty Bouillabaisse, there's lots else to experience, too, including such Asian-inspired dishes as Seafood Crispy Noodles. And don't forget to check out the signs on the walls, including the immortal "Be Nice or Leave!"
