PEARL'S OYSTER • BAR
"Gumbo will hold your life together" reads a sign on the wall at Pearl's Oyster Bar. You have only to sit down to some at this funky, down-home restaurant, where seafood is the main draw, to know that this statement is true. While there's some great Creole and Cajun cuisine on the menu, from Louisiana Pan Roast to a hearty Bouillabaisse, there's lots more too, including such Asian-inspired dishes as Seafood Crispy Noodles. And don't forget to check out the signs on the walls, including the immortal "Be Nice or Leave!"
